This year I’m going to start a series featuring one of my favorite Pet-Friendly Locations each month!
This month we’re talking about Barberitos Southwestern Grille & Cantina. I love the fresh food and the staff there is always super friendly! There is the added bonus of being able to drop by Pet Supplies Plus or Ingles to grab a dog-safe chew if your pup needs a little help settling down. A lot of folks might not realize that Barberitos has a patio right outside the restaurant! It is a little loud out there since it’s beside 105, but we still had a great dinner on Sunday with no issues hearing each other over the traffic. The patio does have fencing on 3 sides so you don’t have to worry about your dog getting into the street, and it’s a handy place to tether them so you can focus on eating!
We were there after 4pm and the patio was shaded, so keep that in mind this time of year – it was a little chilly! I’d also suggest you bring a bowl and water from home – we didn’t spot any bowls on the patio, but that may be because it’s winter and only the real crazy people are sitting out there! A mat of bed for your dog will also make the bonded gravel a little more comfy.
