Dear valued customers and community members,
We hope this message finds you and your furry companions in good health and high spirits. We truly value your participation in our group dog training classes, and we wanted to keep you in the loop about some developments regarding our location in Boone.
It is with mixed emotions that we announce the closure of our Boone classroom location. This will not affect private lessons or programs but does directly impact our ability to offer Group Lessons indoors for the winter and spring. We will be closing our classroom location effective September 30, 2023.
We want to provide some context regarding the situation. We were subleasing our space, but regrettably, our original landlords terminated our lease agreement early because they needed to surrender the space we were using to the building’s owners.
We have been working diligently to find a suitable solution, but unfortunately, our short-term arrangements have concluded before we have been able to secure a new location, through no fault of our own or the building owners. The building owners and management have been wonderful to work with and very supportive of us over the past couple of months. We appreciate all they have done to work with us during this transition period.
Commercial Real Estate in the High Country is in high demand, which is presenting challenges in securing a new space. We hope to find something by Spring of 2024. We are in the process of moving some of our upcoming classes to Valle Crucis Park so that we can still serve the dogs of the High Country.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all of you for your steadfast support and patronage. Your loyalty has been the backbone of our business, and we are truly thankful for every moment we’ve shared. This location in Boone was a dream 8 years in the making, and we won’t let this set back stop us.
